What Does The Bible Say About Prenuptial Agreement

It is true that the standard prenup most people know is an agreed contract created before marriage, which clarifies how money and possession are shared when the couple divorces. However, there are limited cases where a marital agreement could be justified. Marriage is a spouse who gives everything, and the recognition that there will be times when one will have to bear a heavier burden than the other. In other words, as author Gary Thomas put it, “We must stop asking after marriage what God never thought to give him – perfect happiness, conflict-free life and the obsession of idols.” The problem with a marital agreement is that it departs from the biblical view of marriage. A marital agreement assumes that there are two separated persons in the marriage and tries to protect the interests of each party. It presents marriage as a contract rather than an alliance. The Bible, on the other hand, is very clear: when two people get married, there are no longer two, but only one. But then your spouse introduces a new word into the popular language of your relationship, Prenup. And the world suddenly stops. Is that good? Is that wrong? You`re not sure what you need to think. All you know is that you are filled with questions and, for some reason, a sense of injury. In some situations, such as Naomi`s in Ruth`s book, women have been for themselves to defend themselves or to hope for the generosity of distant relatives. But something else comes out at the beginning of this story.

Naomi asks Ruth to join her family. Ruth refuses because she came to love God and Naomi, but what we don`t see in the story is the depth of the choice she made. In most marriage contracts, there was a wedding price or dowry that was put on the girl when a man had to ask for his hand. This happened especially to protect her daughter and take care of her if the marriage were to end without heirs. Ruth`s family had probably asked for the same payment even before the marriage to Naomi`s son was considered. Basically, Ruth turned her back not only to her old religion and her family, but also to the chance of financial stability, if she stayed with Naomi, who may have meant scrap metal. If I were rich, I still won`t ask for a pre-Nup. What belongs to me is yours and what belongs to you is to share mine. If love is pure and true, I think there is no need. I didn`t talk to my husband prenup, and I don`t think it crossed our heads. While these could be safety and clean protection issues, I still wouldn`t consider Prenup, as I still think what my husband is is to appreciate for my husband and vice versa.

Identify the problem that prevents you from following a unit in your future marriage and start looking into it. Consider inviting into your church the direction of a couple of people from God`s fear and mature. Or talk to a Bible guide to help you meet all the challenges in the relationship. I hope that by working together, you will overcome all the challenges that await your relationship. Now, the things you wrote about, “It`s good for a man not to have sex with a woman.” But because of the temptation of sexual immorality, every man should have his own wife and every woman must have her own husband. The husband should give his wife his marital rights, as well as the wife to her husband. Because the woman has no authority over her own body, but the man does. Similarly, the man has no authority over his own body, but the woman does. Do not deprive yourself of one another, except perhaps by unity for a limited time, so that you may surrender to prayer; but then you come together so that Satan does not seduce you because of your lack of self-control.
