Unlike the preliminary agreement for the Board of Directors` negotiations, which is to be put to the vote of PSAC members in the near future, Phoenix`s damages agreement had to be ratified by the PSAC`s National Board of Directors. The Board of Directors voted unanimously on the offer on July 3, 2020. 113 A collective agreement that applies to a bargaining unit, other than a bargaining unit determined in accordance with section 238.14, may not modify or delete, directly or indirectly, the existing terms and conditions of employment or establish a new condition of employment if the agreement is to come into force the child care agreement between the employer and the Public Services Alliance of Canada. Following the work of the National Committee for Joint Care for Children, the Parties agree on the establishment of a Joint Management Committee of the Union for Children in progress. The Joint Management Committee of the Children`s Union is established to continue the work of the National Committee for Joint Care for Children and transmits the committee`s recommendations in addition to other measures identified by further research and analysis and agreed upon by the parties. The Bargaining Agent presented a full list of proposals during this round of negotiations. The PSAC presented 19 proposals, common to all PSAC groups, including economic increases, two additional days of paid leave per year and increased leave entitlements. The PSAC also presented 75 specific changes to the PA table, including increases in holiday provisions, new certificates, and other monetary and non-monetary items not currently included in the PA agreement and/or other CPA collective agreements. The employer recently negotiated 17 agreements at the CPA, none of which had such an expansion of the definition of family. The PSAC proposal is not included in any CPA agreement. Note: Any amendment to this Article shall enter into force on 1 April following the date of signature of the Agreement.
This old language no longer applies to this collective agreement and/or to employees represented in the PA group and is considered housekeeping. Other improvements to the PA collective agreement are as follows: Notwithstanding the previous paragraph, departments may, with the agreement of the alliance, change the submission dates indicated for leave requests. If the submission dates are changed, the employer must respond to the request for leave fifteen days after those dates; The 34 agreements recently negotiated for the CPA and the separate agencies contain the language proposed by the employer. The parties agreed to set up a task force, including a steering committee and a technical committee, to develop a new employee welfare plan. This plan should include income replacement parameters, the treatment of existing banks on sick leave and the resulting changes to sick leave, with wage provisions, in the psac collective agreements.
